WHAT YWAM DOES

MERCY MINISTRIES

Mercy Ministries are the “hands and feet” to make God known. Every year YWAM helps provide the practical and physical needs of hundreds of thousands of people.
Taking care of children in the streets of South America, helping drug addicts recover in North America and Western Europe, operating boats that declare the good news practically and verbally, are only a few of many ways that YWAM extends helping hands.

DISCIPLESHIP AND TRAINING

Discipleship and Training aims to better equip the Christian to serve others in everything, from agriculture and healthcare, drug rehab and Biblical Counseling.

Through the University of Nations, an extension of YWAM, missionaries can study specialized areas like science and technology, linguistics, humanities, and Christian ministry. Most of the YWAM schools combine classed and discipleship focused on relationships and practical service.

EVANGELISM

Some of the creative tools used to present the gospel include: dramas, music, creative arts, and sports camps. YWAM wants to share the gospel in an effective way to reach the audience, so that whoever hears the message can understand it, whether they are teens, adults, refugees, or an unreached people group. YWAM also plants churches among unreached people groups.
